I have been asked by www.LoveandLivingHope.com to help recruit some men who want to help move homeless veterans in & out of their housing. D. J. Janz, the founder, is a Viet Nam veteran and a member of Gateway Church who is his Ministry Covering. Please read his letter below and contact him at djjantz@att.net if you want to help. We have been helping move Homeless Veterans from the Patriot House to apartments. I’m at the point where I need help. We pick up furniture and store it in Watauga in a storage facility. Then, as the Veterans move out, we take the furniture to their new home.
Each Veteran gets everything they need new for the Kitchen as well as full size new mattress set, vacuum, food, towels, and other incidentals. Some of the items are upstairs, heavy, and are tough to move such as couches, etc.
We need help picking up furniture during the week and moving it in. I just feel the honorable veterans deserve our help. Please spread the word for help.
